Stop Motion Portfolio
As well as my love for filmmaking I have always been inspired by Stop Motion Animation as an art form. I grew up watching Stop Motion on British tv and many of my favourite films have been made using this technique. Before enrolling at university I practiced making my own Stop Motion films with action figures. I am looking to return to Stop Motion Animation in the near future with an animated short already in the early stages of preproduction.

Below is my early animations showreel.
The animations in the above video were all produced between 2014 and 2016, at the time I had access to limited resources and equipment (the camera didn't even have variable focus, and I had no tripod) however my love for animation (and Doctor Who) persevered and the several animations above illustrate this.

In the years since I have been on a quest for knowledge for all things Stop Motion, traveling halfway round the world to study artefacts in numerous museums and consuming every behind the scenes feature and literature on the craft that I could acquire.

My studies have taught me many things, some which I stumbled upon in my earlier days, others that have opened a world of new frame by frame possibilities.
